About Dr. Mraz
Dr. Krista Mraz earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, where she double majored in Neuroscience and Music. She completed her doctoral degree at the University of Connecticut, with a concentration in Neuropsychology. At UConn, Dr. Mraz trained with reknowned autism expert, Dr. Deborah Fein, and provided ASD evaluations for toddlers and young children. Her dissertation examined accelerated head and body growth in infants later diagnosed with ASD, and head and body growth in children who later lost their ASD diagnoses.
Dr. Mraz completed her predoctoral internship at the Village for Families and Children in Hartford, and her post doctoral fellowship at Connecticut Pediatric Neuropsychology Associates in Glastonbury, where she continued to work as an associate of the practice for eleven years.
Dr. Mraz has also served as an assistant professor at the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology at the University of Hartford, where she taught courses in psychological and neuropsychological assessment. She continues to supervise University of Hartford doctoral students as practicum students at GPN and also serves on several dissertation committees.
Dr. Mraz lives in South Glastonbury with her husband, three children, and chocolate lab. She enjoys running, attending her childrens’ various theater performances, concerts, and games, and going to the beach.
About Dr. Braconnier-Krupa
Dr. Megan Braconnier-Krupa completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Glastonbury Pediatric Neuropsychology. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After college, she worked as a research fellow in the autism program at the Yale Child Study Center, where she was involved in clinical research studies examining the effects of Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) on social skills acquisition and neural mechanisms.
She moved to New York City to complete her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at St. John’s University, with a focus on Child Clinical Psychology. She worked with Dr. Lauren Moskowitz on projects examining evidence-based interventions for youth with ASD. Megan completed her clinical training at the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she conducted comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children with ASD, intellectual disabilities, and rare genetic conditions. She worked with Dr. Jennifer Foss-Feig on her dissertation examining social attention and memory in youth with ASD, ADNP syndrome, and FOXP1 syndrome.
Megan completed her predoctoral internship at Clifford Beers Community Care Center in New Haven, where she focused on the assessment and treatment of young children with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders and concerns.
Megan lives in Portland and loves spending time at home with her husband and their dog. In her free time, she enjoys running, baking, spending time outside, rewatching her favorite tv shows, and trying all the restaurants in the area.
About Janine Gallagher, Office Manager
Janine Gallagher serves as the office manager for Glastonbury Pediatric Neuropsychology. In addition to keeping the office running smoothly, she is a caregiver to her two young children and you will often find her on the baseball or softball field, swimming pool or basketball court cheering on her children in various sporting events.
Janine graduated from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Social Work. She started her career at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation working to help fundraise and plan events for the hospital. After having children, Janine virtually taught English to students in China. She has an extensive background working with children of all ages.
Janine followed her college sweetheart to Connecticut. They live in Glastonbury with their two children. In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, playing golf and spending time with her family.
